Cold and hot shock test method for glass lined equipment

he thermal shock resistance of the glaze or layer of the glass lined equipment such as the glass lined reactor is different from the cold and hot shock resistance of the glass lined equipment. The cold shock of glass lined equipment refers to that: steam is introduced into the jacket of glass lined equipment to gradually raise the jacket temperature to 150 ° C and keep it for 10 minutes. Then, the cold water of 30 ~ 35 ° C is quickly poured near the discharge port at the bottom of the glass lining equipment. The amount of water is 2L each time, and it is poured once every 5 minutes. The water is poured 10 times in the parts that can't be imagined. Finally, the withstand voltage test is conducted according to 510kv retest voltage, and the glass lined surface is qualified if it is not conductive;

The thermal shock test of glass lined reactor and other glass lined equipment refers to the continuous injection of tap water into the jacket of the equipment at room temperature, so that the jacket temperature reaches the tap water temperature for 20 minutes, Then, pour hot oil with temperature 120 ~ 125 ° C higher than tap water temperature to the bottom of glass lined equipment rapidly. The amount of oil is 0.5L each time. Pour it once every 5 minutes and pour 10 times to different parts. Finally, the withstand voltage test is conducted according to the retest voltage of 5 ~ 10kV. The non conductivity of glass lined surface is qualified, which is also the thermal shock index of glass lined equipment.

The cold and hot shock performance indexes of glass lined reaction kettle and other glass lined equipment are not taken as normal inspection items. Only under the special requirements of users can such destructive testing be carried out.
