Differences between glass lined reactor and stainless steel

Glass lined reactor is a kind of composite material product, which contains high silicon dioxide glass, also known as porcelain glaze, lining on the inner surface of steel container, and then firing at high temperature to make it firmly and evenly adhere to the metal surface. Therefore, the glass lined reactor has the advantages of glass stability and metal strength, which is an excellent corrosion-resistant equipment. It has been widely used in chemical industry, medicine, petroleum, pesticide, food processing and other industrial fields. HuaTeng glass lined reactor technology is leading. In order to meet the needs of more GMP standard users, the outsourcing stainless steel glass lined reactor and other outsourcing stainless steel equipment fully meet the MP standard requirements, which makes HuaTeng glass lining equipment more widely used. Glass lined reactor has high cost performance and is suitable for most reaction processes.

Stainless steel reactor is mainly composed of tank, jacket and mixing system. The parts in contact with materials are made of 304 or 316L stainless steel, which meet the GIP standard and are widely used in medicine, food, etc. the premise is to fully mix the reactants. The stirring device is required for the physical changes such as heating, cooling, liquid extraction and gas absorption. Frame type mixing is often used to ensure the materials are evenly mixed in a short time; frame type, anchor type and slurry type can be selected according to the needs. Sanitary mechanical seal is used to ensure the pressure in the tank and prevent unnecessary pollution caused by leakage of materials in the tank. The price of stainless steel reactor is higher than that of glass lined reactor in terms of cost performance. Please choose whether to use glass lined reactor or stainless steel reactor according to their actual working conditions.
